What We Will Do Together

The issues you initially bring to counseling are the starting point from which the therapy develops. I have an active and educational style of working. You will be guided in a self-exploration that may include looking at your past as a means of understanding and identifying the origins of these issues. I will support and encourage you in confronting fears, negative beliefs, and past hurts that may be contributing to your current situation. I will help you look at what is out of balance in your life, and work toward creating a balance that allows you to live more authentically. I will listen and guide you as you seek out alternative ways to understand and react to the various challenges in your life, and support you in judging what is right for you.

I work with men, women, and couples interested in understanding themselves. Change arises out of identifying and breaking negative, habitual patterns of response and reactivity to life’s various situations. We will attempt to understand and transform outdated patterns of behavior and ways of thinking by using cognitive, intuitive, emotional, and physical awareness. We will identify what actions you can take to support your well-being and a healthier self-perspective.
